Campgrounds, Visit History Tab - View

The label 'View' is not anchored next to the field. It moves as the window is resized and seldom exists alongside the field. Also, there are no selections to the dropdown in the view field except none. I am not sure if the dropdown field is suppose to be getting the selections from a table but I have searched the various CG tables and cannot find one that might provide selections.

I'm not sure the View dropdown was ever implemented. I've looked through a number of test databases, and I can only see view recorded as "none". I guess the intention of the dropdown was to provide information on the view from the site. We've two choices - we remove it, as it doesn't seem to ever have been used. Or we make use of it. But should be in the dropdown? Ideas welcome!

Can't think of any reason to keep it . . . It is 'covered' under the type of sites tab anyway. For me, I really only use 4 campground tabs: General, Reservations,Visit History and History List. I use the notes in General and Visit History a lot to describe what likes/dislikes and whether to consider again. Since we travel to a lot of different places (over 250 campground records), we only go back to ones that I put at 'top' of list (or we use over and over for Rallies) or we will go in another direction. So I don't really spend much time trying to note all the possibilities of the other tabs. Except for Rallies, visits or site seeing, we tend to only spend one 'nighters' at Campsites - not enough time to update all the tabs. We are really only interested in site type, site terrain, tree coverage and a few of the other check boxes.

I agree, if you filled in everything on every tab in Campgrounds, there would be no time for anything else! Still, it's nice that the options are there, and people can pick and choose what they're interested in.

And yes, I have removed the View menu, I think there is plenty enough detail elsewhere. Thanks!
