Do we have to enter fuel data in chronological order; or can the the fuel purchases be entered in any random sequence?

Fuel can be entered in random order. BUT you will have to go back later and correct the previous odometer reading. It very easy to fix, if I remember correctly, I had to do some thin similar when I imported records from the previous version as the old version does not have a Previous Odometer reading.

Where would my data be stored & what are the file names? Needed so I can back it up?

  • Your choice.
  • The default location is the user document folder.
  • The recommended name is: “RVCareLogBookDB.rvclb”
  • The file type extension must be: “.rvclb”

How can I add an item to the popup menu?

I went to “Vehicle” and “Make” and I keyed in Fleetwood (it isn’t in the popup menu) and it will not let me enter it. I looked in the “Vendors” list and Fleetwood isn’t there either.

Is there a table maintenance screen that I didn’t see?

  • For “Make” on the Vehicle screen to get Fleetwood, for example, you will need to go to the Vendor Window and add a record for Fleetwood. The same would also apply to the Chassis Manufacturer.
  • You may also need to add vendors for other equipment manufacturers and service facilities you use.
  • If you work on your vehicle yourself and want to make a service record for the work performed, you will also need to create a vendor record for yourself.

Can I transfer data between a Mac and a PC?

  • Yes. All you need is to copy the database to the other computer. I have done it. You may need to also copy or manually sync the Preferences (or maybe you want then to be a different.) One user keep his data base in the “CLOUD” ( DropBox ), when he is home he uses a desktop and on the road a netbook.
